DVS Practice Workshop 2019 at Listemann Technology AG in Bendern, March 22, 2019

17 students from all over Germany and the responsible persons of the DVS (Deutscher Verband für Schweisstechnik) were participants of a one-day practical workshop at Listemann in Liechtenstein. The participants were introduced to the potential and application possibilities of vacuum brazing as a joining and coating technology. During a tour of the production facility, the participants were given a live insight into the production process for vacuum brazing and hardening of injection moulding tools and were able to determine the serious difference to flame brazing on the basis of a practical exercise. Information on Liechtenstein as a business location rounded off the program.

The students were impressed by the vacuum brazing technology. Oliver Pütz, a student at RWTH Aachen University, said: "The workshop with the various stations and presentations was very interesting and vivid and I was able to learn a lot about a previously unknown way of brazing. I will keep Listemann in good memory.
