she is finally here and we are looking forward to working together with Astrid from now on, not only virtually. She will be our technology expert for Laser Metal Deposition (LMD/DED) and other additive manufacturing (AM) processes. Astrid is a materials engineer (University of Nancy/F) and was most recently project manager at a LMD equipment manufacturer, where she was also responsible for the materials lab. It is lucky for us that this equipment manufacturer is also the supplier of our new LMD machine.

Astrid will also be responsible for expanding our debinding and sintering service for AM components produced using the FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) process in 3D printing.
